The Loan Process

Mortgage Application
You willl be asked to complete the 1003 Uniform Residential Loan Application. A loan agent or a loan processor will receive the loan application and contact you with any questions and to inform you if any additional documentation is necessary.

Interest Rate Lock
After the preliminary prequalification you will asked if you want to lock your interest rate. You may always check the rates, daily if you wish, and contact your loan agent and ask about the lock process.

Credit Report - Appraisal
You will be asked for one check. This will be for a full credit report (normally $30) and appraisal (normally $350). The appraisal fee can vary based on the use and size of the property.

Loan Documents
Once the loan is approved, you will receive the closing documents via overnight delivery. A few of them do require a notary. There will be specific directions and contact information included if you have any questions.
