We provide quality financial services to you in a friendly, professional yet personal manner. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.

Our History
First National Bank of Shiner was founded in 1891, one year after Shiner was incorporated as a city. In that year, Confederate Captain and local rancher Charles Welhausen established a private bank for the growing railroad town.

In 1900 Captain Charles’ private bank became federally chartered. The First National Bank of Shiner is to this day still privately owned and operated and has proven to be a strong financial institution and civic leader.

Offering a wide range of modern banking services, we're leading the way for community and area businesses in the 21st century. For more information about the Shiner area and local businesses, visit ShinerTX.com, the official website of the Shiner Chamber of Commerce.

In 2001, a Texas Historical Commission marker was placed at the bank to commemorate the history of the First National Bank of Shiner.
